Classroom Champions


We are very fortunate to have been chosen as a part of the Classroom Champions program.  Attached are some of the documents that explain the program - and we will also attach our mentor videos so students can share the messages with their families.

We have been paired with an amazing athlete mentor: Alysia Rissling. 

Alysia is a Canadian Bobsled Athlete. Each month Alysia will prepare a video lesson on an important theme to help to teach the students about the topic and then also provide us a challenge.  The students will work through an activity (or sometimes more) on the topic and we will upload some of the samples of work so that Alysia can see what she has helped us to learn.  There are opportunities for 1 or 2 Blue Jeans chats (similar to Skype/Facetime) where we will be able to talk live to Alysia during the year.
