- Working on creating our websites about areas of research about our First Nation groups.

Math
- Beginning work on division of numbers.  What does it mean?  How do we approach division?
- Introduction to groups and sets
- Focus on mathematical communication (explaining thinking using pictures, numbers, and words)
- Examining problem solving skills and strategies


Science
- Refining journalling skills and incorporating feedback (examining strong models)
- making quality grade level observations and inferences 
- Chemistry: Looking at mixtures and solutions
- Chemistry: growing crystals 
- Chemistry: chemical vs physical reactions

Wetland Field Study work We have been learning about the importance of wetlands during our class time as well as out in the field.  We encountered some poor weather, but this last few weeks it has been looking up.
